Meet Lauren Nicely

Lauren Nicely subsequently became a makeup enthusiast after her prom makeup artist failed to show up. Her love for makeup and making women feel beautiful eventually became her career. She started with a small clientele of friends and family and eventually, through client referral, professional relationships and the help of social media, built her reputation. Lauren has now served in the beauty industry for over 6 years as a professional makeup artist. She has always been both inspired and intrigued by hair removal and facial transformations which led her to her pursing a career in esthetics.

Lauren has developed a strong following on Instagram of 100,000+ followers. Her passionate followers from all over the world are always eager to see her makeup and skin transformations or for her to share her favorite beauty tips and products. She has been featured several times in Essence Magazine’s digital publication, Hype Hair Magazine, The Knot, The B Collective, as well as Munaluchi Bride for her bridal and makeover magic. 

Lauren is known for her clean, fresh, precise makeup application and astonishing bridal makeovers. She has a passion for serving her local community with her talents. In 2014, Lauren ventured out of her comfort zone and began teaching classes. To date she has hosted classes in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area, The Carolinas, New York City, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Florida, Jamaica and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Lauren has had the privilege of working with Milani Cosmetics as lead makeup artist for the 2014, 2015, and 2016 “Ubiquitous Trade Show.” She has worked with several celebrities including Kenya Moore (Miss USA 1993, Real Housewives of Atlanta), Amber Riley (Glee), and Gabrielle Dennis (The Game, Rosewood). She is currently the principle Makeup Artist for Bravo’s Real Housewives of Potomac star, Ashley Boalch Darby.
